“The Bugattis of Jean De Dobbeleer” is my first full length book, and when I started writing I had no idea who would print it, or for that matter, what I needed to do to get it ready for a printer. Fortunately, I had a friend who had recently self published a book, and he recommended that I contact Becky Pate at Sun Graphics Book. They say that when you get free advice, you get what you pay for, but that was not the case in this instance. My friend’s advice was solid gold.
From the beginning, Becky tirelessly and patiently answered all of my questions, and advised me what to do. When we got into the production stage, Merry Crain stepped in and continued to advise me and saw to it that the book was printed and delivered in a timely manner.
We knew from the beginning that our target market demanded a high quality book, and that they were willing to pay to get it. This was emphasized to Becky and Merry, and they delivered. At the time of this writing, the book has been out less than two weeks, and I have a stack of emails praising the book and its high quality. I might add that a lot of this praise has come from people who have extensive libraries that contain many high end books, and some are pretty tough critics.
